Membership

Come as a guest. Belong as a member.

Las Vegas Skål meetings are open to all — members and non-members alike. Membership is a separate step, with benefits that go well beyond the mixer.

Come as a guest

You do not need to join to attend

Las Vegas Skål gatherings are open to members and non-members alike. RSVP, pay the guest ticket, and walk in. Mixers are typically the first Thursday of the month, hosted across hotels, attractions, restaurants, and the rest of the local industry.

Membership is the extra. It is for people who want the worldwide network, welcome at other clubs, the trade-show stand, and a voice in this one — not a ticket to dinner.

Why membership

What belonging adds

Connecting Las Vegas hospitality professionals by building lasting friendships worldwide inside the Skål International community. Doing business among friends.

  • Worldwide directory

The Skål database puts tourism executives at your fingertips — hotels, airlines, DMCs, attractions, media, and the rest of the industry, in clubs around the world.

  • Doing business among friends

Skål is not a community club like Rotary or Lions. It is an association of tourism professionals. Partnerships start over dinner here, then travel with you to other clubs when you are on the road.

  • Welcome wherever you go

Active members are welcome at Skål meetings worldwide. Moving cities, starting a business, or just traveling — there is a table of colleagues waiting.

  • Fairs and trade shows

Complimentary use of the Skål stand at major shows, including IMEX and IPW, plus the Las Vegas club’s own IMEX booth for members who want to work it.

  • This club, every month

Mixers across every sector of Las Vegas hospitality, a vote in the local club, and scholarships the club raises so members can represent Las Vegas at national and international Skål events.

  • Discounts, news, and a safety net

The membership card is recognized by Skålleagues as you travel. Skål News reaches the industry quarterly. The Florimond Volckaert Fund assists members in serious need.

Who can join

Managers and executives in tourism

Membership is open to people directly involved in tourism management, sales, and promotion — transportation (air, cruise, rail, ferry), travel and tour operators, agencies, tourism organizations, attractions, restaurants, government and non-government tourism councils, hotels, convention centers, travel media, and businesses that primarily support the industry.

How to join

Meet us first, then apply

  1. 1 · Come as a guest

Sit with us at a mixer or two. That is how most people decide, and how the club gets to know you. A current member’s endorsement still helps when officers review.

  2. 2 · Apply

Complete the form below — no sign-in required. Pay the one-time $30 application fee on submit, or take an invoice. Officers cannot file the official Skål International proposal until that fee is paid. The club forwards it to Skål International as the cost of a new member. It is not charged again when you renew.

  3. 3 · Dues, if approved

Regular membership is $170 for the membership year, renewing each January 1 — no application fee on renewal. If you apply in September or later, the first dues invoice is the next calendar year. Student and lifetime types are set by the club.

Apply

When you are ready

Officers review every application and fill the official Skål International proposal from what you enter here. Come to a gathering first if you can — it is not a hard gate, and it is the usual path. You do not need to sign in. A one-time $30 application fee is due before the club can file you with Skål International — pay on this form or take an invoice.
